The research consists of exploring the use of power lasers for the manufacture of hardwood floors. The project’s industrial partner, Boa-Franc, is the North American leader in prefinished floors. It must constantly innovate to stay ahead of the competition because a good part of its sales come from recent products. The success of the project will contribute to maintaining a significant level of exports and the 400 jobs in the company.
