The project aimed to propose and implement hardware and algorithmic architecture for the development of a self-calibration system of projectors that project on 3D surfaces that have the property of having an anamorphic point of view. This architecture includes the hardware systems (cameras and projectors) as well as the algorithmic strategy and its implementation, in order to digitize the space, evaluate the necessary compensations and control the projection system. Space and Dream wanted to implement a robust, fast, and automated solution to replace the manual calibration that is currently required. This implementation was made on four anamorphic works installed at 1800 Avenue McGill College in Montreal.
