procédé d’assemblage pour une sonde / medical optical probe

The project consisted in optimizing the optical design and mechanics of a probe used by neurosurgeons to differentiate cancerous tissues from healthy tissues during surgeries to excise brain tumors.

Secondly, we worked toward developing the manufacturing process in order to optimize manufacturing time and the repeatability of optical and mechanical demands while handling the performance tests related to the reliability constraints required for actual use during clinical trials (neurosurgery).

The implementation of a database and a rigorous process ensuring the detailed traceability of each of the probes were also essential aspects of the project’s success.
