Optech at QAMPUS 2025: A full day dedicated to photonic and quantum technologies in Québec

Optech was present on November 20, 2025, at QAMPUS, the flagship event organized by Optonique to accelerate the adoption of photonic and quantum technologies in Québec. The Delta Hotel in Québec City served as a gathering point for a community driven by innovation, bringing together companies, researchers, organizations, and industry experts.

Among the participants, Patrick Orsini, Director of Development and Innovation at Optech, proudly represented our team. His presence aligns perfectly with our commitment to supporting companies in integrating optical and photonic solutions, and to actively contributing to the growth of quantum technologies within Québec’s ecosystem.

Throughout the day, QAMPUS offered a space rich in learning and exchange. Trainers and experts shared their knowledge on quantum technologies, shedding light on their challenges, applications, and industrial potential. Informal discussions as well as more technical conversations helped spark ideas, bring complementary players together, and collectively imagine the innovations of tomorrow.

In parallel, interactions between companies, research centers, and organizations created fertile ground for new collaborations. The event concluded on a warm and engaging note with a networking cocktail organized in partnership with DistriQ – Quantum Innovation Zone, providing an ideal setting to continue conversations, strengthen relationships, and build synergies within the sector.
