Design of an inspection station for selective waste sorting

The objective of this project was to design an inspection station for the selective sorting of putrescible waste. The proposed method was to use colored plastic bags dedicated to organic putrescible materials and to dispose of them together with regular waste. The waste was then transported to a sorting center, placed on a conveyor, and an automated selective sorting process based on the color of the bag was subsequently carried out.
