This project aimed to master an additive manufacturing process using functional inkjet printing on various planar substrates made of materials used in optics and photonics. We envisioned an innovative approach to the fabrication of optogenetic optrodes, as an alternative to conventional microelectronics processes — particularly photolithography — which are generally costly and polluting.
